AutoPepe Whitepaper

Version 1.0 · October 2026

AutoPepe is an AI trading agent for Robinhood Chain, with a frog on its screen. You tell it your trading rules in plain English. It watches the chart around the clock and trades for you, from a wallet of its own, inside limits you set. By default it asks before every trade. Pepe turned that off. You don't have to.

Status. AutoPepe is in development. Nothing described in this paper is live yet unless it is marked Live. Features, names and details may change before launch. This paper will be updated as things ship.

1. Summary

2. Why now

Trading agents are moving into the mainstream. On September 29, 2026, Robinhood announced Robinhood Agents, AI agents that can research markets and place trades from a dedicated account inside its app.¹ Robinhood said that since it opened agentic trading in May, more than 150,000 customers had opened agentic trading accounts, and that agents use its tools almost 30 million times a day.¹ Its agents ask for approval before each trade by default, and customers can switch that off, although Robinhood notes that crypto trade approvals must stay on in Connecticut, New York and California.¹

AutoPepe takes the same idea on-chain, to Robinhood Chain, and adds three things a brokerage app doesn't:

  1. The market doesn't close. On-chain markets trade on weekends and overnight, so your rules can too.
  2. The receipts are public. Every trade an agent makes is an on-chain transaction anyone can check.
  3. It trades the chain's own tokens. That includes the memecoins that live on Robinhood Chain.

It's also designed to remove two things that put a lot of people off AI trading bots: you don't need to set up API keys or write code, and you never hand your main wallet to a bot.

3. How it works

1 · You say. "If $TOKEN drops 20% today, buy $50. Max $200 a week."

2 · It watches. It checks the chart around the clock. Nights and weekends too. You go to sleep.

3 · It trades. At 3am, $TOKEN is down 20%. It buys $50 from its wallet. With Ask first on, it pings you and waits for your tap. With YOLO on, it just does it, inside your limits.

Other rules you could set: buy the dip, take profit, stop loss, weekly buys, rebalance.

Examples only. Not trading advice.

4. The product

AutoPepe comes as a web app and a Telegram bot. The web app does everything. The bot is for the things you want on your phone at 3am: approvals, alerts, pausing, chatting with your agent and setting up rules. Anything that needs your wallet's signature, like depositing, withdrawing or changing limits, happens in the web app.

4.1 Pick a brain

Choose the AI model your agent runs on: OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini. You don't need an API key or an account with any of them. AutoPepe runs the models for you and bills you for what you use, in $AUTOPEPE (see section 6). You can switch models at any time. Your wallet, limits and rules stay the same.

4.2 A wallet of its own (the Pad)

Every agent gets its own Pad: a smart-contract wallet that you own. You deposit into it what you're willing to let the agent trade, and you can withdraw at any time. Only you can withdraw, and only to your own wallet. Your main wallet is never connected to the agent.

4.3 The leash

You set the agent's limits, and they're written into the Pad's on-chain rules:

4.4 Lily Pads (standing rules)

A Lily Pad is a rule written in plain English: "if this, then that." Your agent's AI turns it into exact conditions and reads it back to you before saving. Nothing runs until you confirm.

Once saved, Lily Pads are checked around the clock by AutoPepe's rule engine. The engine runs your rule exactly as written. It doesn't ask the AI to re-decide every time, so the result is predictable and doesn't depend on the AI being in a good mood.

Conditions you'll be able to use include:

Actions include:

Every rule has a cool-down and spending limits of its own, on top of your leash.

4.5 Ask first, or YOLO

Ask first is the default. Every trade waits for your tap, in the app or in Telegram, and expires if you don't answer. Nothing happens in that case.

YOLO mode skips the asking. You turn it on after confirming your limits. Your caps and whitelist still apply in YOLO mode. You can switch back to Ask first at any time, from the app or the bot.

4.6 Talk to your Pepe

Chat with your agent. Ask it what it's watching, why it sold half at 3am, or how the week went. Give it a one-off trade in plain English, and you'll still confirm it before it goes through. It can only see its own Pad, never your main wallet.

4.7 Receipts and the leaderboard

Every trade an agent makes is on-chain, so every agent keeps receipts. The app shows your agent's trades and its profit and loss over different periods. The calculation leaves out your deposits and withdrawals, so those don't count as gains or losses.

Agents that opt in can appear on a public leaderboard, with sensible minimums to make it harder to game with tiny or brand-new wallets. Past results don't predict future results.

4.8 Copy mode (planned)

See an agent on the leaderboard you like? Copy mode will let you copy its Lily Pads into your own agent, as drafts you review, under your own limits. Copy mode is subject to legal review and may change or not ship in some regions.

4.9 What it trades

At launch, the agent trades tokens on Robinhood Chain that pass AutoPepe's safety checks, including memecoins. Tokenized stocks may be added where users are eligible. This is subject to legal review, and they won't be offered to anyone in the United States.

5. Safety model

An agent that trades real money needs hard limits. AutoPepe is designed around these principles:

  1. The AI proposes. It never signs. The AI can only suggest a trade. It has no access to keys and can't change your limits, your approval mode or your withdrawals.
  2. Every trade is checked twice. First by AutoPepe's policy engine, then by the Pad's own on-chain rules. Even if our servers were compromised, the on-chain rules still cap what can happen: whitelisted tokens only, within your limits, and back to your Pad.
  3. Assets only go back to you. The agent's trading permission can't send assets anywhere except the Pad itself. Only you, the owner, can withdraw, and only to your wallet.
  4. No leverage, ever. Only spot swap routes are allowed.
  5. Untrusted text is data, not orders. Token names, websites and social posts can try to sneak in instructions. The agent treats that text as information only.
  6. Token safety checks. Before a token can be traded, it has to pass checks such as minimum liquidity and a simulated buy and sell, to help filter out tokens you can buy but can't sell. Tokens are rechecked regularly and paused if they fail.
  7. Stop means stop. Pause one agent or all of them in one tap, and revoke the agent's on-chain permission whenever you want. Trades that already went through stay as they are.

Audit: the smart contracts have not been audited yet. If an audit is done, the report will be published here. Until then, AutoPepe won't call itself audited.

6.2 What it's for

$AUTOPEPE pays for the AI. Every time your agent uses its model, whether you're chatting, setting up a Lily Pad or getting a trade explained, it uses some model capacity. That usage is priced from the model provider's rate, plus any service fee, and paid in $AUTOPEPE at a market rate at the time of use. You top up an in-app balance with $AUTOPEPE. Exact pricing and balance terms will be published before the app opens.

6.3 Where spent $AUTOPEPE goes

Spent $AUTOPEPE goes to the AutoPepe treasury. It is never burned. The treasury address and how the treasury is used will be published at launch.

6.5 What $AUTOPEPE is not

$AUTOPEPE is a memecoin with one job. It is not a share in AutoPepe, the team or the treasury. It pays no fees, dividends or staking rewards. There is no burn and no buyback promise. Holding it gives you no claim on anything. Its price can go to zero.
